Where has the Pride gone

So about to weeks ago I took my 4 rims I picked up from the LA roadster show to bridgestone around the corner to get the old tires dismounted so that I could get the rims powder coated while I waited for my tires to come in. The kid about my age working in the back with little to know english in his system....at least that is what he played off... was just as about as lazy as they come. The second two tires had dry rot and he couldnt get them off and let me say this he didnt even try. Even when his boss told him to do whatever it took and I offered to help if he had anything to cut the bead a bit to help him break it and he just looked at me with stupidity on his face and said sorry. I talked to the manager and told him I'd never come back there again and that people are begging for jobs right now and this kid was worthless. So I got my rims powder coated and bought the front two tires today. I took them all to the same bridgestone to get them mounted only because I had payed for the dismounting and mounting of the tires and didnt want to give away 20 bucks like that. Today a older gentleman that was deaf was working in the back. He helped me grab all my tires even though I insisted I do it. He promised he wouldnt scratch the nice paint job, check them once then checked them twice, even spit shined the suckers so no residue was left on the rims...and despite his lack of english and being deaf and having a speach imparement chated with me genuinely about the car I was building and wished me good luck. I thanked him twice shook his hand and gave him a 20 dollar bill...for a tire mount that only costed 20 dollars total to begin with. I told his boss what a good job he did and that it was nice to see people that have a little bit of dignity and pride im them at work no matter what they do.

All these punk ass kids that don't give a hoot about there attitude, performance, and respect at work need to be kicked to the curb. In this economy you should be thankfull to have a job, and show it through your hard work.

anyways thanks goes out to fernando at Bridgestone...guys like that make me take a breath and realize not everyone in this state is a complete fuckhead...looking to get by for free.

now for pictures the rear 750x16s should be in next week to get her rolling again

Summer Swells

Went down to Trestles for the start of the swell we had last week was there a good 9 hours. Its a place I've always loved to go though the crowd has got increasingly worse over the years it still has something about it that makes you feel like you've gotten away from the chaos that we live in daily. There are few places like this especially in Southern California no a days. We gotta fight to keep them around....without them the magic will soon fade away. Few places have the essence of what our fathers and grandfathers saw 20-30 years ago. It's a very peacefull thing being able to sit there and see what they saw at your age.I picked up a new sled from Shelter surf shop in Long beach, 9'10 slide rite shaped by Lemire. Things rad really enjoying longboarding and taking it back to the ways of the past. the first is a picture of me representing how I feel lately....I'm crawling out of my skin....need to get outa here! Taleyho for now.
Cheers

Wine Party turned Shit show

So we had a last minute wine party last friday night, Figured I'd give the few that look at this site a look into me and my friends. We went for all out class and I stopped by Trader Joes and picked up 5 bottles of Charle Shaw....2007 :) for 10 bucks...they don't call it two buck chuck for nothing. It was nice to get friends together and well have a good time. While I'm at it here are a few more pics of me friends and adventures. To say the Least the next day was harsh...but well worth it.

La Roadster Show continued

Going through some photo's found a few more that deserved to be edited and put up
